Project Details:
This project involves a 10,000 s.f. addition to the existing church. The addition includes a new Fellowship Hall, Kitchen, Offices, Restrooms and a central Gathering Space. The Fellowship Hall will serve multiple purposes and functions and will accommodate up to 290 people. The design inside the Hall has both the formality for special events, such as dinners and receptions, as well as the durability, height and layout to accommodate athletic events. The Kitchen design utilizes commercial grade equipment and is state-of-the-art. With the input of church members, the various tasks involved with preparation, cooking and delivery of meals was carefully considered. The flow of the process was discussed and each cabinet, drawer and storage area were studied and designed. The new central Gathering Area connects the existing church to the new addition and will serve as the main entry and gathering area before and after services. This area is accented by the construction of a new Steeple Tower. The existing basement area (former Fellowship Hall) will also be renovated to accommodate classroom space. The site design includes new parking areas and takes into consideration possible future expansions.
